I am a lawyer, teacher, educator, tutor, researcher, writer (both ghost and published under my own name), entrepreneur and coach. One client said that I am a “Jill of all Trades”. I am proud to be able to profoundly serve my clients in a lot of different ways, helping them hack their lives and make their professional and personal lives more productive.

- I have started several successful businesses and coached, consulted and provided legal advice for dozens of other small businesses and startups.
- I provide business, legal, client acquisition and formation advice and help clients create thriving businesses.
- I love helping others finding their footing in establishing and developing their new business.
- I have the legal, business, sales and creative background to help entrepreneurs establish their new business, create business plans, create their digital presence and do carefully crafted things to find the right clients.
- I also help students, millennials, established career professionals all the way up to the C level executives hone their business writing, accelerate their ascent in their company and get the job of their dreams.
Writing.

- I have been published in both academic and popular publications. I am a contributor on HuffPo and Mighty.
- Not only am I published writer, I love to coach/mentor people in finding their authentic voice so their websites, biographies, resumes, professional and personal correspondence sounds like the best version of them.
- I have also ghostwritten websites, books, publications, speeches and personal and business writings.
- I use your words, thoughts and turns of phrase to create writing that you can be proud of but also that sounds authentically you.
- From business plans to resumes to holiday cards to wedding speeches, I write the stories of people's’ lives and careers and am honored when people ask me to help (either by writing them or teaching them to write effectively and persuasively).
Organizing.

- I believe in the power of organization. Not just in your spaces but in the life and systems you establish and curate. I believe that organization, appropriate systems and minimization can have such a profound impact on your life that I coach, clean and curate people and spaces for a better and more elegant life.
- Informed by great organizers like Marie Kondo and valuing the joy of things, I have developed a philosophy that through an organized life, space and system, you can experience more joy in less.
- Through Your Life Simply, Katie and her good friend and partner, Julie, will help you create elegant and curate spaces which would encourage you to live your best life, simply, elegantly and functionally.
- Too often organization companies just declutter and organize and don't understand the utility of space and the joy of use, we want your things to inform and compliment your beautiful life.
Education.
Education
- I am a thought-leader in the education space. I have a MA from USC in teaching and work with students with exceptionalities thrive in education.
- I founded two academic consulting and full-service advocacy firms because I believe that students should have comprehensive support in place.
- I have worked with many students and families in tutoring, advocacy and coaching to ensure success at all levels of education.
- I develop educational consulting plans for all students so that they can excel academically and the parents and family can have peace emotionally.
- I also help students in tricky situations, often embroiled in administrative or academic disputes.
- I believe that educational success happens when there is family buy-in and that students feel that they are supported by systems and structures to succeed.
- As a student with disabilities, I offer empathy informed by my journey to overcome my own disability in an educational setting.
- I also help students with disabilities, through executive function coaching, use easy tools to manage their disability and academics in one.
- I also offer college application support, helping students craft unique essays that stand out from the crowd. I also help students with disabilities explain their disability to colleges, secondary schools and graduate schools, in a way that is not stigmatizing but compliments the overall application.

- I am a lawyer (JD from UCLA) with experience litigating in education, administrative and employment laws.
- While I am not currently a full-time litigator, I provide comprehensive advocacy for students in educational settings.
- I offer legal advice to school systems, non-profits and families on issues of education and disability.
Coaching & Mentoring.
Coaching & Mentoring
- In all of the above areas, I offer coaching and mentoring. When you use an inclusive package, I am available to you in your area of concern. Through google documents, in-person or online sessions, texts and email, we tackle your project, concern or goal, in swift time.
- I don’t believe in coaching or mentoring in a bubble, I am hands on and believe that learning happens through doing.
- Informed by my unique legal, business and educational background, I help you or the student in your life achieve and learn through practice.
- Work on your ADHD through creation of a website or channel focus issues in creating a business, these are just some of the unique and individualized solutions that I have developed for clients.
